True Nanotechnology

The accepted scientific definition of the term “Nano-molecular” is any material with an atomic/molecular level ranging from one nanometer (NM) to 100 NM. For scale comparison purposes, one nanometer is equivalent to 1 billionth of a meter, or approximately 1/80,000 the diameter of a human hair.

Coretrate™ Nanotechnology Facts

  • True nano materials like Coretrate nano sealant penetrate and molecularly/atomically bond with the free ions in any substrate, becoming one with the material.
  • Coretrate is engineered from inception as a true nanotechnology product. And while numerous nano based coatings can be found, typically these prove to be non-nano based formulas which simply add nano-sized powders/particulates. These formulations are prone to surface adhesion failures (de-lamination).
  • True nano formulas are known to increase abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance and chemical resistance, provide a lower coefficient of friction, and increase surface hardness and heat ranges to extend the life expectancy and integrity of the substrate.
  • Coretrate’s viscosity is very similar to water and will penetrate deeply into the substrate. Nano reactions provide for deep penetration and permanent protection.
  • Coretrate nano treatments will not peel or leach and are environmentally safe.
  • Coretrate reduces dusting for cleaner and safer environments.
  • Coretrate is easy to apply and can be sprayed, rolled, wiped on or dipped.
  • Certain Coretrate formulas provide high reflectivity (surface sheen) that beautifies the substrate to which it is applied.
  • Coretrate holds up to heavy traffic if used on a flooring application.
  • Coretrate has a low VOC content.
