Coretrate stops metal corrosion

Corrosion is no match for Coretrate™

Whatever the source, be it natural or chemical, corrosion can have a devastating effect on metals of all kinds, weakening their structural integrity, marring their appearance and shortening their life. Applying Coretrate just once provides permanent corrosion protection against galvanic corrosion, salt corrosion, chemical corrosion, pitting corrosion, graphitic corrosion, acidic corrosion and more. In fact, Coretrate™ resists corrosion from concentrated hydrofluoric acid.

Coretrate™ metal sealant can prevent these types of corrosions:

Galvanic CorrosionGalvonic corrosion occurs when two metals with different electrode potential are connected in a corrosive electrolytic environment.
Pitting CorrosionThe metal loss is randomly located on the surface of the metal, usually in the form of cavities or pits. The corrosion is greater in some areas than others.
Graphitic CorrosionCast iron deterioration is caused by losing iron in salt water or acids.
Concentrated Cell/Crevice CorrosionOccurs any time liquid flow is kept away from the attacked surface. It is common between nut and bolt surfaces, under O-rings and gaskets, and between clamps and stainless steel shafts.
Uniform CorrosionCorrosion that is uniformly distributed over a metal surface.
Erosion CorrosionMetal is attacked by a moving fluid that both corrodes and erodes the surface. This process can be accelerated by mechanical wear.
Chemical CorrosionDeterioration of material due to contact with corrosive chemicals, such as hydrofluoric acid.

When applied to already corroded metal, Coretrate™ will stop any further corrosion to the metal. Coretrate™ is formulated for steel, copper, aluminum and iron.
